CircRNA is a newly discovered circular non-coding RNA. It is widely found in plants and animals. Because of the circular structure of circRNA, it is insensitive to RNase enzymes, so it has strong intracellular stability, so it can effectively function. The functions of circRNA are known to be able to adsorb miRNAs like sponges, and then regulate target genes. The expression of CircRNA is tissue-specific, time- and space-specific, and it has potentially significant research significance in the pathogenesis of diseases, the development of new diagnostic reagents, and targeted therapy.
